It's just McDonald's. I wish they were open later though. The McDonald's in Wauconda is so bad, I drive past it to come to this one.

Staff is friendly enough. Cleanest McDonald's I've been to and a while. Play are is modern and will kept up. Only problem is staff takes dumps in the play are bathroom.

We visited this McDonald’s on Saturday, September 20, 2025. We got their breakfast and I always enjoy getting McDonald’s sausage and hash browns. It was delicious and totally not what I expected for breakfast. I can see myself returning sometime soon! Even though it’s been 4 months, I really like this Island Lake location. (Written 10-2-25)
